General Natural History Packages

3 Night Easy Explorer
3 Nights with a 3 hour morning bird walk, an afternoon walk of your choice, a 1 hour walk to our waterfall looking for poison dart frogs and a 1-1.5 hr. night walk.

*All the following Educational packages include  a 4.5-5.5 hour hike on some un-groomed trails in fairly steep terrain.  Please do not book these packages unless you are physically fit enough to do this hike.

3 Night Adventurer
3 Nights with a 4.5-5.5 hour rainforest hike through diverse ecosystems including primary, secondary and riparian forest.

3 and 4 night Rainforest Educational Packages
Includes: 3 nights, 4.5-5.5 hour forest hike, 3 hour morning bird walk, 2 hour afternoon general nature walk, a 1 hour midday walk to the waterfall, night walk.

5 Night Rainforest Educational Package
Same excursions as above and a  great trip to the monkey beach with our taxi guide.   See Guided Activities

Birders Packages

When birding, we rarely walk more than 2 km round trip on easy to slightly difficult terrain. 
Any packages below with road trips are priced assuming the guests have a car of their own with room for a guide.
We will note below the cost of our birding taxi.
Hours are approximate for the individual walks.  It all depends on the birds.

3 night Lazy Birders Package
Includes: 9 hours of local guiding, 2 morning walks and an afternoon walk.

3 night Tigre Birding Package
Includes: 14 hours of local guiding, 3 morning walks of approximately 3 hours each to different locations and 2 late afternoon walks.

3 night Tigre to Mangrove Package
Includes: 11 hours of local guiding plus a road trip to Sandalo.  2 morning walks of approximately 3 hours each to different locations, 2 late afternoon walks and 3 hours of coastal plain birding between the lodge and the mangroves of Sandalo.

3 night Osa Birder Package
Includes: 11 hours of local guiding plus a road trip to Rincon.  2 morning walks of approximately 3 hours each to different locations, 2 late afternoon walks and 5.5-6 hours Roadside birding trip to Rincon. (see Roadside Birding)

4  and 5 night Tigre to Mangrove Packages
Includes: 14 hours of local guiding plus a road trip to Sandalo. 2 or 3 morning walks of approximately 3 hours each to different locations, 2-3 late afternoon walks and 3 hours of coastal plain birding between the lodge and the mangroves of Sandalo. (see Roadside Birding)
